バイオ>> ミシガン州のハイランドパークで生まれ育った。母はアシスタントの看護婦で、父は掃除夫だった。デトロイトにあるウェイン州立大を卒業し、有名なシカゴのコメディ集団「The Second City」に参加し、クリス・ファーレイ等と共に活動していた。その後の1991年に「サタデー・ナイト・ライブ」のレギュラーとなり、2000年までと長い間レギュラーを務めた。 その「SNL」のキャラクターだったレオン・フェリップスの「The Ladies Man」を映画化して有名になった。
